Hilda Perez is a photojournalist with experience in visual storytelling, photography with emphasis on the human condition, multimedia and editorial projects. A graduate of the University of Florida, she spent the majority of her career working for three major newspapers in Florida; Miami Herald, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, and Orlando Sentinel.
Currently, staff photographer for NGO, Food For The Poor, Inc.
Over the past 30 years Hilda has covered a variety of assignments including natural disasters, ethnic fighting in Kosovo, embed with Army 3rd Infantry in Iraq, civil turmoil in Jamaica, and multiple issue reportage in Cuba, Germany, Russia, Mexico, Caribbean, Africa, and Latin America.
